Welcome to the Santa Barbara Sculptors Guild...
The Santa Barbara Sculptors Guild (SBSG) is a non-profit organization serving as a community resource to encourage education, enjoyment, and appreciation of sculpture. Through monthly meetings featuring guest speakers, exhibitions, special events, and community outreach, the SBSG provides a support system for sculptors and other interested individuals. The SBSG also facilitates interaction with regional, national, and international creative communities.

Guild History...
The Santa Barbara Sculptors Guild was organized over 40 years ago to promote interest in sculpture and for the exchange of ideas. Mrs. Frances Inis, Santa Barbara City College Adult Education teacher and sculptor, was chosen as the first chair.

2014 Spring Show for SBSG Members
May 1-May 30 2014
Juried by Delphine Sims and Sydney Hengst
CASA Magazine has generously offered us their gallery space for a member’s only show this May. The Gallery is located at 23 E. Canon Perdido Street, next to the Lobero Theatre. Our jurors, Delphine Sims and Sydey Hengst are both Assistant Curators at theSanta Barbara Museum of Art.

CASA Gallery is smaller than the Faulkner, which will make this a much more
competitive show than usual. But it’s a wonderful opportunity for Guild members to show their work in a top-drawer space.
Both 2D and 3D art will be accepted. You must be a guild member to enter, but you can send your membership dues in with your entry.
We’ll be doing the ingathering electronically for this show – a change from our usual procedure. To enter, you’ll need to put jpeg images of your work on a CD and mail the CD with a completed entry form and a check made out to SBSG to the Guild at PO Box 2273, Santa Barbara, CA 93101. If you haven’t paid membership dues for 2014 or want to join the Guild to enter the show, you can do so with your entry. Dues for 2014 are $50 ($25 for full time students).
Guild members may enter up to 3 pieces. Entry fees are : $25 for one entry, $35 for 2 entries, $45 for 3 entries. Third entry is free for full time students.
