Monthly Meeting Tradition

For 50 years, the third Tuesday of each month was a special time for Santa Barbara sculptors. Members would gather at 7:00 PM at the Louise Lowery Davis Center for an evening of inspiration, education, and community.

Typical meetings included:

  • Welcome and announcements from guild leadership
  • Guest speakers from the art world
  • Live demonstrations of sculptural techniques
  • Member show-and-tell of works in progress
  • Refreshments and networking

These gatherings were open to both members and guests interested in learning about sculpture.
