How artists joined and participated in the Santa Barbara Sculptors Guild
Historical Information
The Santa Barbara Sculptors Guild is no longer accepting new members. This page documents the membership traditions that were part of the guild during its 50-year history (1965-2015).
A Welcoming Community
Throughout its history, the Santa Barbara Sculptors Guild welcomed members from all backgrounds and skill levels. From accomplished professionals to enthusiastic beginners, the guild provided a supportive environment for anyone passionate about three-dimensional art.
Monthly membership meetings, held on the third Tuesday of each month at the Louise Lowery Davis Center, were the heart of the guild's community. Members gathered to enjoy guest speakers, demonstrations, and the camaraderie of fellow artists.
